COVID19 Reopening Information

The Stanford Climbing wall is currently closed due to Santa Clara Counties COVID 19 restrictions.  Our goal is to open our gym as soon as possible while putting into place protocols and measures to safeguard the well being of our community.

Here are some of the changes we are making to our gym to help our community stay safe

  1. Reservation system to sign up for your time to climb
  2. Separate bouldering and top-rope climbing zones
  3. Bring and wear a face Covering
  4. Complete and be prepared to show your Stanford Health Check (link?)
  5. Use liquid chalk and/or chalk balls
  6. Sanitize hands between climb
  7. Classes and lead climbing will not be offered during our initial reopening stage
  8. Certain amenities such as showers and lockers will not be available

New Hours of Operation: To Be Announced

How to protect yourself and others from COVID-19:

  • Wash or sanitize your hands frequently – especially after climbing. We will have hand sanitizer stations located throughout the gym
  • Our staff will be wearing masks at all times and we will require that you also wear a mask, even when climbing
  • Please practice social distancing – at least 6 feet apart
  • Please use liquid chalk and/or chalk balls
  • Stay home if you are not feeling well or experiencing any of the CDC coronavirus symptoms
    • Fever >100ºF
    • Cough
    • Shortness of Breath
    • Chills
    • Muscle Pain
    • Sore Throat

Making a Reservation:

  • Go to (reservation website) to make your 90-minute reservation
  • No guest passes of day passes (yet)
  • Up to 3 reservations per week
  • Come ready to climb – showers and locker rooms will not be available
