Pickleball is coming to Stanford West Courts!
We are excited to announce that starting today November 28th, courts 5 and 6 will become dedicated Pickleball Courts.
Important information:
We will start with courts 5a, 5b, 5c, and 5d being reservation only. 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d will be available for open play. During PHYSWELL and Recreation classes, Pickle Ball play will not be allowed.
Pickleball is America’s fastest-growing sport. Two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a wiffleball, over a net.
New to pickleball? We will offer pickleball classes and clinics. We will also have equipment available for checkout at the AOERC (close to the West Campus courts).
We are looking to install permanent Pickleball Courts on campus, after which time courts 5 and 6 will return to normal tennis use.
