Alexandra Kalayta, PT, DPT
Alexandra Kalayta completed her Doctorate at Northeastern University on a sports medicine track, which culminated in an in-depth study on the treatment of shoulder pain in the tennis player. During her more than 15 years in outpatient sports medicine and orthopedics, Alexandra established a reputation as a specialist in treating racket sports athletes. Outside clinical practice, she joined forces with the USTA Junior development, providing medical management for elite juniors during camps and tournaments, as well as educating parents and players about performance enhancement and injury prevention. She hopes to continue to positively impact the way tennis players, both elite and recreational, approach training. In her free time, Alexandra plays tennis, hikes, fulfills her English Labrador’s demands to regularly visit the beach, and enjoys exploring Bay Area cultural events.
