Erick Schlimmer , M.A.
Erick Schlimmer has a B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an M.A. in kinesiology from San Jose State University. Erick came to Stanford as a certified personal trainer at the National Accelerator Laboratory (SLAC) fitness center and then joined Stanford Health and Human Performance (HHP) as a PE golf instructor in 2017. He currently teaches golf and Foundations of Health and Performance Psychology. He recently earned his Professional Golf Association apprentice status here at Stanford and is concurrently working toward becoming a PGA Class A Teaching Professional. Erick played intercollegiate golf for Foothill College, American football at the University of Stirling in Scotland, and has coached youth sports including basketball and golf over several years. Erick is a San Francisco Bay Area native who loves dogs, sneakers, cereal, his wife, recovery, and the Grateful Dead.
