Jin Hong Yan, Ph.D.
Dr. Yan holds an M.A. degree in Lifelong Human Movement Development from San Jose State University and a Ph.D. degree in Neurocognitive and Neuromotor Control and Learning Across the Lifespan from Arizona State University. He has over three decades of experience in research and teaching, serving as a university professor and a consultant for collegiate and elite athletes, individuals with developmental deficits, and those with neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Yan has published works in various fields, including Kinesiology, Neuroscience, Movement Science, Geriatric Psychiatry, Gerontology, Developmental Neuropsychology and Psychobiology, Developmental Science, Physical and Health Education, Sport and Exercise Science, and Sport Psychology. His expertise encompasses the fields of Kinesiology, Neuroscience, Developmental Motor Behaviors, Public Health, Cognitive and Motor Skills and Rehabilitation, Psychology, Physical and Health Education, Physical Activity, and Disability. In his free time, he enjoys engaging in physical activity, reading, writing, and traveling with his family.
