F45 Class Description

F45 is a combination of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Circuit Training, and Functional Training in a team environment. Interval, cardiovascular and strength training have been proven to be an effective method for burning fat and building lean muscle. All in 45 minutes!

The Stanford F45 format schedule will always follow the world schedule pattern:

  • Monday/Wednesday/Friday – cardio-based training
  • Tuesday/Thursday – resistance-based training.

Pass Eligibility

You must have a Platinum Pass to take F45.

How to Reserve This Class

Unlike our drop-in group fitness classes, F45 requires reservations prior to each class session due to the limited amount of equipment. To reserve your place, we use the MindBody application.

Please allow 48 hours after purchase of your Group Fitness Pass for your MindBody account to reflect it.

MindBody Steps

1) You must create an account in MindBody to be able to utilize the online reservation system.

A) Create an account on this page:

B) You MUST use the same email address as your Fusion Portal account in order to have the proper access utilizing your Group Fitness Pass membership. Your Group Fitness Pass is assigned to your Fusion Portal login email address.

2) Everyone who has purchased the Group Fitness Pass will have access to make reservations via the system by logging into MindBody Online. There are two options for making reservations for these classes:

A) MindBody Connect mobile app: https://www.mindbodyonline.com/connect
B) MindBody web page from your Internet browser:

3) The reservation window is 7am- 10pm the day before classes. There is also waitlist for each class if the class fills up. You can show up on the day of to see if there are any no shows or open spots. However, your spot is not guaranteed unless you pre-register via MindBody.

All F45 classes take place in the dedicated F45 group fitness studio on the top floor of the ACSR.
