Registration Opens Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 9am.
While you can’t depend on Bay Area weather in the winter, you CAN depend on three days of FUN at Cardinal Classic Winter Camp! These 3 days will be a similar style to our Classic Cardinal Summer Camp, if you’ve participated in that — think your favorite sports in the morning, and a “choose your own adventure” afternoon — including options like arts and crafts, LEGOs, or more sports!
And… a SWIM DAY on Friday for everyone!
Winter Camp will be located at the Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation (ACSR) Basketball Courts on 341 Galvez Street. Both drop off and pick up will be at the ACSR as well as all camp activities.
Winter Camp for ages 6-12 years, boys & girls Campers are grouped by Fall 2018 school grade level
**If a Camper is deemed too young by the staff, we reserve the right to cancel camp for that camper.
January 2 – 4th, 2019 , Wednesday – Friday only
Camp Activities run 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pre-Camp drop off starts at 8:45 a.m. (included with camp tuition)
Morning Care 8:00 – 9:00 am – $30/3-day session
Stanford Affiliates (Must have current SUNet ID) 9:00 – 3:00 pm – $250/3-day session
Public 9:00 – 3:00 pm – $280/3-day session
Afternoon Care 3:00 – 6:00 pm – $90/3-day session
Full payment for all programs as well as extended care and any additional financial options is due upon enrollment. $50 per camp week is considered a non-refundable deposit.
Changes to and/or withdrawals from camp sessions, including extended care, are subject to a $15 administrative fee per change.
The final day to get a refund (minus the non-refundable deposit) for Winter 2018 is Thursday, December 20. There will be no refunds after this date. All cancellations must be received in writing by 6:00 pm on December 20. Please email us at email@example.com
If a camper is not behaving in accordance with camp safety, policies and expectations, the camper may be dismissed from the remainder of the session(s) without refund.
Online Registration will open on Thursday, November 15th at 9:00am PST.
Camper Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Campers must have a parent or authorized person sign them in and out each day. All authorized pick-up people must be designated on your online registration account and may be required to show a photo ID at time of pick-up. You may add any additional authorized persons on your account for camper pick-up after registration. You can also add names manually to the list at sign-in on Tuesday mornings.
Note: Drop-Off and Pick-Up are located at Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation at Outdoor Education and Recreation Center at 341 Galvez Street. Please note that parking rules will be enforced during camp hours so parking without a permit or paid meter could result in a ticket. You must park at the designated parking areas which will be given to you prior to camp. Failure to comply will result in cancelation of your camper.
Drop off and pick up may change due to construction. In the event of changes, we will update this website and send you information by email before your session starts with updated parking information.
Our camps are designed for children interested in multiple sports with a curriculum of numerous hybrid games along with sports such as soccer, basketball, kickball, and more. This Winter Camp will also include swimming on Friday, January 4th! We will take a but to our other facility across campus that day.
Campers are grouped by age/grade for morning activities and by interest in the afternoon.
Most activities will be in the ACSR using gym space and fitness studio.
** Please note that the activities listed are examples of activities that may be scheduled during camp sessions. Activities each day and week may vary. Some variation is based on camper age, interests.
Our staff consists primarily of college students, athletes, and outstanding local high school student athletes as well. We are committed to providing a safe, fun and memorable camp experience. The counselor to camper ratio is a maximum of 8:1 on the field.
