THE AVERY AQUATIC CENTER, TENNIS COURTS, AND SCRA POOLS ARE NOW OPEN. ALL OTHER FACILITIES ON MAIN CAMPUS AND SRWC ARE CLOSED as a result of our current response to the COVID-19 crisis. We recognize that loosening up of restrictions across the state that you are anxious as we are to reopen the fitness centers. At this time, we are awaiting further guidance from the University Administration as to when we can open. New to the gym and/or Stanford Recreation & Wellness facilities? Come to Fitness 101 to learn more about our fitness center’s equipment, amenities, and more!
We have Fitness 101 on Tuesdays at 12:00pm in the ACSR weight room and Wednesdays at 12:00pm in the AOERC weight room.
Stanford students, Faculty/Staff and Stanford Community are eligible to participate in the Group Fitness Program. Stanford Community members are Dependents 18 and older, Spouses, Hospital Employees who have purchased an Athletic Access Card, Alums who have purchased an Alumni Membership, Retirees, or Partners of a Student, Faculty or Staff.
Eligible faculty and staff on campus can earn BeWell Berries by participating in our fitness programs. All benefits-eligible employees can earn a $100 (taxable) incentive for completing six Berries between January 6 and November 30, 2020.
After completing your SHALA, you can start to earn Berries from various departments on campus, including Recreation & Wellness. BeWell Participants can earn two Berries from any of our group fitness passes and one Berry from our recreational classes.
