Counselor in Training (C.I.T.) Camp

Summer 2024 our Counselor in Training Camp will be introducing a new curriculum geared towards teaching the general skills on leadership, communication, responsibility, teamwork, problem solving and decision making! These valuable skills can be used at school, home and in the community (not just at camp.) C.I.T’s will also learn specific skills for working with youth campers and fellow co-workers, as well as gain experience planning and leading activities.
No two weeks are the same as they will have hands-on experience with new campers each week.  C.I.T’s will leave this leadership experience with the tools to excel as positive mentors and role-models for their peers and campers alike. Counselor in Training Camp is for youth entering 8th grade through youth entering 10th grade in the fall. (For more information on age and grade breakdown please visit our FAQs page!). Mornings will be spent learning and improving the core skills and values of a leader by focusing on a different theme each week. (more information to come).
In the afternoons C.I.T’s are campers too and have campers choice time! Campers will have the opportunity to choose between, playing sports, arts and crafts, swimming, and rock climbing (on select days).
